WHO WE ARE
Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&C) is the not- for- profit national association representing the employer and owner interests of the 35,000 restaurants, cafes and caterers in Australia.
The members of R&C are the owners and operators of restaurants, cafes and catering businesses (full members) and representatives of industry supplier businesses (associate members).
WHAT WE DO
Our strategic focus is to ensure owners and operators within the hospitality industry remain profitable and sustainable. For the wider hospitality community we aim to support continuous improvement of industry standards and professionalism.
In order to achieve these goals R&C proactively campaigns and lobbies all levels of Government to ensure that the views of our members are heard in the public sphere. With the view to gaining the best representation for our members we work with other State and Federal Industry bodies and Tourism Authorities. This cooperative effort ensures that the hospitality industry advances hand-in-hand with our complementary industries. Our overarching aim is to increase the utilisation of food and dining services across the entire consumer sector.
To support our members to run profitably and sustainably, we provide a unique range of products and services that enable growth across all areas of the business. These products and services range from one on one specialist advice including Workplace Relations, Employment Law and Immigration: through to accreditation programs such as the Savour Australia™ Restaurant and Catering HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence.
