Established in 1972, the Adelaide Convention Bureau is a private sector, non-profit, membership based organisation supported by the South Australian Tourism Commission and the Adelaide City Council.

As the peak body for business events in South Australia, the Bureau is the official organisation responsible for promoting Adelaide and South Australia as a desirable business event and incentive destination. It actively markets and promotes the state locally, nationally and internationally to convention, meeting, exhibition and incentive travel buyers.

The Bureau is a results driven team, which works closely with its 200 members and key industry partners to attract each year on average 25,000 international and national delegates, which generates 140,000 bed nights and delivers approximately $100 million into the state’s economy.
