Restaurant & Catering QLD is a not-for-profit industry peak association made up of food service businesses solely for the purpose of protecting and serving the interests of the industry and the viability and profitability of those enterprises operating within the industry.
Formed in 1946, the Association is a registered union of employers under the Industrial Relations Act and operates predominately in six regional centres.
The Association is governed by a board of directors elected annually from the associations membership, none of whom receive any payment for their services, with all funds generated being applied back to industry initiatives, member benefits and services.
Any member is entitled to a say in the direction of the association, the services it provides and can stand for nomination to the board and to be involved in representing member businesses’ needs regionally.
